Requirements

Nationality :  Malaysian
• Minimum Certificate in Plumbing, SPM and recognized trade qualification.
• Minimum 1-year experience in plumbing and general works. Value-added if well verse on RIGEL and Johnson Suisse Products.
• Possesses technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and knowledge in relevant legislation (building codes, fire safety, and country standards).
• Value-added if knowledge in PA/sound system and Fire Fighting system.
• Capacity to work in shifts.
• Demonstrates the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities
• Assist supervisor for the day-to-day operations. Operates, maintains and repairs all aspects of the mall’s plumbing system, ACMV systems, pumping system, water and sewage pits and pumps, generators. General fitting and welding of all associated mechanical equipment
• Attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment includes but not limited to plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.
• Carries out general repair, painting, toiletry fitting, and plumbing works according to standard.
• Troubleshoots and undertakes hands on repair works for any issues relates to building structure promptly.
• Coordinates repair works with suppliers and/or contractors.
• Carries out meter readings to maintain records for utility costs throughout the building, including those of tenants.
Performs general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment within an acceptable timeframe.
• Conducts regular documented inspections of plant and equipment as per the checklist and statutory requirements.
• Ensures Fire and Engineering safety features operate optimally, and familiarizes self with emergency procedures.
• Monitors energy management systems to minimize wastage and costs using utility readings as a reference point.
• Ensures that all workshop tools and equipment are well stocked and maintained.
Attends training courses and workshops, as well as engineering specific meetings when required.
• To perform any duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Understands and applies all policies implemented by Sunway to any personal data received, used, transmitted, processed, or stored.
