Project Supervisor & Painting Inspector

Job vacancy for ropetech Sdn Bhd.

1. Job Title     : PROJECT SUPERVISOR

Requirement:

·  Minimum SPM, preferably with a Technical Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

·   At least 6 year’s offshore working experience in Oil & Gas industry with three (3) years as Supervisor in maintenance works.

·  Able to read, write and speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia, local dialects will be an advantage.

·  Aware, understand and knowledgeable with regards to safe working procedures.

·  Fully conversant with hydroblasting works and painting/coating requirements of offshore/onshore facilities.

·  Ethical working practices and procedures.

· Supervising the progress of given project or tasks and in charge of preparing proper and accurate reporting documentations and methods.

· Communicate effectively with co-workers, subordinates and clients in conveying messages and in receiving instructions.


2. Job Title     : PAINTING INSPECTOR

Requirement:



·   Minimum SPM, 5 years relevant experience or more in blasting and painting inspection, preferable in Oil & Gas companies.

·  Painting Certification: NACE certification / IMM / CSWIP-BGAS Certified Coating Inspector level 2 or equivalent

·  Should have good knowledge in relevant codes & standards along with good communication skills.

· Aware, understand and knowledgeable with regards to safe working procedures.

· Knowledge in welding & dimensional control will be an added advantage.

· Must be computer literate (Microsoft packages like MS Word and Excel & Etc).

·  Fully conversant with painting/coating requirements of paints to different types of surfaces for offshore/onshore facilities.
